FIT e-bike at EUROBIKE 2024: See what’s new

From A as in Aximo to W as in wireless charger, FIT e-bike is unveiling a number of new products at this year's EUROBIKE in Frankfurt. So what are these, and what’s the latest product news? Read our blog article for details.

With more than 66,000 visitors, a total of 1,900 visitors and an event space that would cover more than 25 football pitches, EUROBIKE is the world's leading bicycle platform. The event in Frankfurt am Main is a highlight of the year for FIT e-bike too. We have been an exhibitor every year since 2021, and in 2024 we will be hosting a stand there (Hall 12.0 / B16).

This year’s EUROBIKE is particularly exciting for us: We are unveiling four new products to trade professionals with the FIT Master Node Display, the FIT BAT Tubepacks, the Quad Lock wireless charger and the Aximo DD60 FIT hub motor. These will enable the FIT e-bike system to offer even more options for greater customisation. E-bike manufacturers rejoice! Now, on to the product news...

1. FIT Master Node Display: Precise e-bike control with display

First up is the new FIT Master Node Display. Just like the existing FIT Master Node Basic now there is also a control unit with integrated colour display. At 1.52 inches, it provides riders with a quick look at the key information during the trip, guaranteeing easy legibility no matter what the weather. Three buttons -- one for power plus two arrows to change assistance levels and screens also mean a user-friendly experience.

Impressive: The FIT Master Node Display can be integrated directly into the upper tube of an e-bike, which simplifies control of the e-bike functions and allows for a streamlined design. Of course the setup includes an interface for communication with the components of the pedelec and the FIT E-Bike Control app, along with a bluetooth connection to the FIT e-bike system.

2. FIT BAT Tubepacks: Powerful, seamlessly integrated e-bike batteries

FIT e-bike is also showcasing two new batteries featuring the latest cell technology that can be seamlessly integrated into the frame tube: the new Tubepack batteries. The FIT BAT Tubepack 535 48 V has a rated capacity of 530 Wh; the FIT BAT Tubepack 800 48 V delivers 800 Wh. As the name tells you, both of these are 48 V. They measure 423 x 75 x 70 mm. Of course, both batteries have a wide range of accessories, including an adapter plate, a mounting rail, upper and lower brackets, and the FIT Integrated Connector Hub.

Impressive: The Tubepack batteries feature a unique locking mechanism called FIT Clictake, which offers a clever twist: Traditionally, removing in-tube batteries can be cumbersome, requiring both hands. FIT Clictake works easily with just one hand. Once unlocked, the battery drops into a secure middle position with the integrate secondary lock. No second hand needed! Just press gently against the direction of removal and the battery is ready to go wherever you do.

3. Quad Lock wireless charger: Power without a plug

The third new product we are unveiling at EUROBIKE this year is the Quad Lock wireless charger, which allows you to attach a smartphone and can act as a charging station too. Our inspiration for this idea: More and more riders use their smartphones as their e-bike display, and considering that smartphones are now owned by 96.3 percent of the population in Switzerland (according to DataReportal; GWI) it was only logical.

We were committed to offering a convenient solution. The Quad Lock wireless charger allows the mobile device to be securely and reliably fastened in place in the event of unevenness or jumps by simply twisting and locking The integrated wireless charging function also ensures that your smartphone battery isn't drained when you’re out and about.

Please note: The Quad Lock wireless charger is available only as a replacement product and is not available as an aftermarket product.

4. Aximo DD60 FIT hub motor: Silent, sustainable propulsion

We are very excited about the expansion of our drive portfolio for the new model year. A new addition to the lineup is the Aximo DD60 FIT hub motor with direct drive construction. Manufactured in southern Germany by the Hirschvogel Group, the motor has a torque of 60 Nm, weighs 5 kg and is available as a pedelec and S-pedelec version.

It is silent, has excellent ride properties, a robust design and best of all, an integrated motor controller, meaning fewer components and easier installation. RPM and cadence sensors are integrated directly into the motor and ensure a smooth ride.

NB: The first e-bikes with the new Aximo DD60 FIT come from the start-up KONRAD Bikes from Höxter. You can take them for a test spin at the outdoor exhibition area (F12-J06).
