The blind plug protects the connector from water and accumulating dirt. If the e-bike is equipped FIT Range Extender ready ex works, a connector on the cable harness remains open if the FIT Range Extender is to be retrofitted at a later date. To ensure that this plug remains functional, it is covered with the blind plug (included in the scope of delivery ex works).
